In suburban Chicago, for example, we coordinate the West Cook County Housing Collaborative, a joint effort by five municipalities to develop quality, long-term affordable housing near public transit.

Through our Home First initiative, we acquire, develop, own, and manage homes that remain permanently affordable to very low-income people with disabilities, with a focus on expanding the availability of accessible housing.
