Jose Cerda III oversees strategic communications and public policy efforts at IFF, where he focuses on communicating complex issues, building public and political support for legislation, and enhancing the organization’s reputation through through leadership.
Cerda brings more than 25 years of public policy experience to IFF. He previously served in two White House administrations, acting as deputy assistant to President Obama, senior adviser to Vice President Biden, and special assistant to President Clinton. He also worked for the City of Chicago in both the Department of Planning and Development and the Office of the Mayor.
Cerda holds a bachelor’s degree in government from Harvard University.
