A $1.2 million loan this fall to the International Spanish Language Academy (ISLA) will allow the school to buy from the Charter Schools Development Corporation its current building in Minnetonka. Nonprofits Assistance Fund (NAF) provided the financing, with support from IFF as part of the Midwest Lenders Alliance.
ISLA is one of the highest performing schools in the community and received the Blue Ribbon School award from the U.S. Education Department in 2013. At capacity, the school building will serve 334 students in kindergarten through sixth grade.
