IFF’s Privacy Policy
IFF’s privacy policy describes IFF’s current policies and practices with regard to personal data collected by IFF through its website, IFF.org (the “Site”). This privacy policy is independent from IFF’s offline personal data collection practices for programmatic or organizational purposes. The term “personal data” refers to personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, birth date, e-mail address or mailing address, and any other information that is identified with you personally.
Notification of Changes to This Policy
In the future, IFF may add new functionality and features to its website and improve or add to its existing products, services and programs. Because of these ongoing changes, changes in the law and the changing nature of technology, IFF’s privacy practices will change from time to time. IFF therefore reserves the right to change this policy at any time without prior notice by posting the revised policy to the Site.
Information Collected
IFF only collects personal information about you when you specifically provide it – typically in connection to subscribing to our newsletter, RSVPing to our events, or applying to one of our special programs. In connection with online program applications, IFF collects your name and address, the name and address of your organization, and other information about you or your organization necessary to determine eligibility to participate in an IFF program.
Use of Personal Data Collected Through the Site
IFF uses your personal data and/or your organization’s data to answer questions or to facilitate our communications and programmatic initiatives. IFF may also use this information to help improve the content and functionality of its website, to better understand its customers and markets, and to improve its products and services. IFF may use this information to contact you in the future to tell you about IFF’s products or services that it believes will be of interest to you, for example, its annual report, updates to its online grant forms and/or an e-newsletter. To opt out of receiving future communications from IFF, please send an email to |.
Disclosure of Your Personal Data
IFF is committed to safeguarding the privacy of its online visitors. IFF may share your information with partners and agents who assist IFF in the administration of its programs and services, and then only to the extent necessary to implement the program, and only if the partners and agents are under an obligation not to sell or share your information. Except as described in the prior sentence, information that is collected from IFF’s website is not sold or shared with any individual or organization.
