IFF’s Stephen Westbrooks Recognized by Ingram’s Magazine as One of “50 Missourians You Should Know” September 30, 2024

Each year, Ingram’s Magazine compiles a list of “50 Missourians You Should Know,” recognizing leaders in the Show-Me State whose careers, companies, and core values are changing not just their communities, but the state—and, in some cases, the world. This year’s list included IFF Executive Director of the Southern Region Stephen Westbrooks, who was honored for his work to create stronger, more vibrant communities across the state by ensuring that flexible capital is accessible to local changemakers and that they have the support needed to leverage the capital to expand their capacity and impact.

A member of the IFF team since January 2016, when he joined the organization as a senior lender, Stephen today provides strategic leadership of IFF’s operations, lending, and real estate consulting in Missouri, Kansas, and Southern Illinois. Prior to joining IFF, Stephen served as an underwriter/developer for Affordable Equity Partners, where he underwrote Low-Income Housing Tax Credit transactions and led the development of the organization’s New Markets Tax Credit Program. Outside of work, Stephen is an active community volunteer, serving on the boards of Habitat for Humanity St. Louis, Tower Grove Park Foundation, and Great Rivers Greenway. A St. Louis native, he received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
