KIPP signs deal with Indianapolis Public Schools, begins developing growth plan August 1, 2014

KIPP’s move to Indianapolis’ Coleman Middle School in June allows the charter school to open its new elementary school, KIPP Unite, with kindergartners in August. Eventually KIPP UNITE will serve students up to fourth grade. After initiating the two-year contract for Coleman Middle School, IFF advised the charter school during the six-month negotiations with Indianapolis Public Schools. IFF also is working with KIPP on its plan to grow from two schools to five schools in Indianapolis by 2020.
