On July 11, 2024, IFF Senior Lender Omar Elhagmusa and Director of Real Estate Solutions Meg Slifcak led a webinar hosted by the Ohio CDC Association that explored how access to capital drives nonprofit-led community revitalization. Among the topics discussed during the presentation was the development of the Pivot Center for Art, Dance, & Expression, which is providing nonprofit arts groups and social service organizations with affordable, high-quality space for their work while serving as an anchor for community development on Cleveland’s West Side. The 81,000-square-foot Pivot Center was created by transforming a vacant factory that contributed to neighborhood blight into a catalyst for community reinvention.
For those who were unable to join the webinar, a recording of the session is available below.
